The Tulsa Roughnecks FC roster continued to expand today as the team and Head Coach David Vaudreuil announced the signing of defender Adrian Jusino, pending league and federation approval. The 25-year-old is a Massachusetts native and comes to Tulsa after spending his entire professional career in Bolivia.
“Adrian is a very talented center back in the Bolivian second division,” said Vaudreuil. “He is very calm and secure in defense and is a very skillful passer who brings qualities on both sides of the ball.”
Jusino has spent the past two seasons playing for Club Always Ready of the Bolivian second division. Prior to that he spent time on Union Maestranza, another Bolivian second division club. The defender also spent a season playing for Richland College in Dallas making 12 appearances for the school.
Prior to his professional career, Jusino spent several years in the youth system for Club Bolivar. Bolivar is the most decorated club in the Bolivian Primera Division with 28 championships.
The Roughnecks will play their home opener at ONEOK Field on March 24 against the Real Monarchs SLC.
