The Tulsa Roughnecks FC has added more experience to its backline with its most recent signing. The club announced today that it has come to terms with former Cuban international Jorge Cordero Corrales, pending league and federation approval.
The 25-year-old has made 34 appearances for the Cuban International Team, including in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He scored one goal during his international career.
After the Gold Cup, Corrales came to the United States and has received Permanent Resident status. Last year, he spent time with both the Miami FC and the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers in the NASL.
The Roughnecks are scheduled to open the 2017 USL regular season on Saturday, March 25 when they host Colorado Springs at ONEOK Field. A number of ticket packages are available at RoughnecksFC.com. Fans can also inquire about tickets by calling (918)744-5901.
