Match Preview vs El Paso Locomotive FC

TULSA, Oklahoma (Friday, June 14th, 2019) – Tulsa Roughnecks FC are looking to bounce back as they host El Paso Locomotive FC in USL Championship Western Conference play. Kickoff from ONEOK Field is set for 7:30 P.M. CST (Saturday, June 15th, 2019) and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Saturday’s USL Championship match will be the first ever meeting of the two sides, with El Paso Locomotive being in their inaugural season. 

Tulsa Roughnecks FC comes into the match trying to regain their confidence after two straight losses. The team enters the match in 12th place in the Western Conference. El Paso Locomotive FC enters the match in 4th place in the Western Conference.

El Paso Locomotive enter the match on an eight match unbeaten streak, with their most recent two of the streak being wins. Their scoring front is led by Jerome Kiesewetter, with six goals in the past month, and nine on the year in nine appearances. 

Tulsa Roughnecks FC are looking to find the back of the net after being held scoreless for only the second time this season. Goal leader, Luca Lobo, looks to recapture reignite scoring ways as he has 7 on the season.

El Paso Locomotive FC comes into the match with six clean sheets on the year, tied for third most in the league. The stingy defense doesn’t stop there; they have only allowed 12 goals all season giving them a goals allowed per match average of less than one per match.
