Match Preview vs Phoenix Rising FC

TULSA, Oklahoma (Thursday, June 6th, 2019) – After last week’s home match, Tulsa Roughnecks FC are back on the road with a trip to Phoenix, Arizona to take on Phoenix Rising FC. Kickoff from Casino Arizona Field is set for 9:30 P.M. CST (Friday, June7th, 2019) and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Friday’s USL Championship match will be the first of two meetings between Tulsa Roughnecks FC and Phoenix Rising FC, with the Roughnecks currently in 12th place at 17 points in the Western Conference, and Phoenix Rising FC in 3rd place with 20 points in the Western Conference. Tulsa Roughnecks FC holds a 4-3-1 advantage in the series, all-time.

The official watch party for Friday’s match will be at The Tulsan Bar following Tulsa Tough.

Phoenix Rising FC are currently on three match winning streak within the USL Championship winning those matches by a combined score of 11-3. Phoenix Rising FC are the second highest scoring team within the Western Conference and the goal scoring is led by Adam Jahn, who has scored five goals in the past four matches and seven on the season. 

Zac Lubin, the starting Phoenix Rising FC goalkeeper is a former Tulsa Roughnecks FC player. In the inaugural season of Tulsa Roughnecks FC, 2015, Lubin played in goal for 16 matches allowing 28 goals on the season.
