TULSA, Oklahoma (Friday, May 24th, 2019) – Tulsa Roughnecks FC travel to Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend to take on Las Vegas Lights FC. Kickoff in Las Vegas is set for 9:30 P.M. CST (Saturday, May 25th, 2019) and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Saturday’s USL Championship match will be the first of two meetings between Tulsa Roughnecks FC and Las Vegas Lights FC, with the Roughnecks currently placing 6th in the USL Western Conference standings, and Las Vegas Lights FC entering in 11th place.

Tulsa Roughnecks FC come into Saturday’s USL Championship match following a hard-fought draw versus San Antonio FC last weekend. The team is the third highest scoring team across the USL Championship scoring 22 goals, trailing only Portland Timbers 2 and New Mexico United.

Las Vegas Lights FC are coached by the former U.S National Team Forward, Eric Wynalda. Wynalda was the all-time leading scorer up until 2008, finding the net 34 times in 106 appearances. His professional career span an impressive 220 appearances scoring 64 goals. Wynalda was named Head Coach of Las Vegas Lights FC in late 2018, ahead of the 2019 USL Championship season.

Two former Tulsa Roughnecks FC players made the Las Vegas Lights 2019 roster, Forward, Samuel Ochoa who made 54 appearances scoring 20 goals (during the 2015 and 2016 season), as well as Midfielder Jonathan Levin who made 22 appearances last season.

Irvin Parra, the Las Vegas Lights FC forward joined the team prior to the 2019 season, he has found the back of the net 7 times in only 11 appearances. Parra is no newcomer to the USL Championship playing the 2016 season with Seattle Sounders 2, the 2017 season with Orange County Soccer Club to now join Las Vegas Lights FC after a year off from professional soccer.
