“It is a good opportunity for Jorge to spend some time in the MLS environment,” said Roughnecks Head Coach David Vaudreuil. “Our relationship and partnership with the Fire continues to grow and improve. This type of arrangement is another one of the key elements of the relationship, and we really value the opportunity to work with the Fire.”
Corrales has been a key contributor for Tulsa this season, starting at left back in all but one of its 17 regular season matches this season. The Roughnecks are unbeaten in their last four games and are in sixth spot in the Western Conference table.
The Fire are enjoying an excellent season in MLS. They have the second-most points in the league with 38 and own an 11-4-5 record. The mark includes an unbeaten 9-0-1 home record.
