Juan Caffa played a key role in helping lead the Roughnecks in a come-from-behind, 2-1 victory over the Oklahoma City Energy FC on the road this past Saturday night. And he was rewarded for his efforts as he was named to the USL Team of the Week.

It is the third time this season that the Tulsa captain has been selected to the team, and it was well-deserved. Caffa scored the first of two second-half goals for the Roughnecks with a clutch penalty kick to spark the side in the opening edition of the 2017 Black Gold Derby. He is now a perfect 3-3 on PKs this season. More importantly, the win gave Tulsa 3 points in the first of three matches against the Energy this year, while also moving the club into a playoff spot in the USL’s Western Conference.

The complete USL Team of the Week is listed below.

The Roughnecks next home match at ONEOK Field will be on Saturday, July 22 when Phoenix Rising and international superstars Didier Drogba and Omar Bravo come to Tulsa. Kickoff for that match is set for 7:30 PM. Fans wanting to reserve tickets can do so by clicking HERE.
